Full Description

The Ada was built 1872, with a net tonnage of 55 tons. It was registered in Rochester, had three crew and was captained by T.E. Ward. It sank on 31 Dec 1898 whilst carrying ballast from Southampton to Cherbourg, after being driven ashore in a severe southerly gale, force 10 (1-3).
