`The KINGS FISHER, of Dartmouth, is lost in the Isle of Purbeck. (1) [St. Albans Head is approximately the mid-point of the Isle of Purbeck and has therefore been selected as the named location.] Date of Loss Qualifier: R

The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
