Full Description
An early to mid 20th century ropewalk of three phases on a north south axis survives on the west side of the Dreadnought Trading Estate. The west elevation is rendered, the windows are metal-framed, and the roof is of corrugated asbestos. There are parts of a late 19th century ropewalk, built of red brick and with a slate roof, along the east side of the north end. The site extends to the rear of the houses on West Allington road to the north. <2>
