Full Description
John Bishop Ewens is listed as a manufacturer of line, twine, shoethread, fishing nets, girth webs and bleacher and dyer in West Street, Bridport in trade directories between 1848-59 <1>. The precise location of his works in West Street is not known. The documentary sources suggest that it was built pre 1866.
