Full Description

`Extract of a letter from Poole, Jan.13:...also lost near the same place and beat to pieces, a sloop laden with brandy, and 3 of the hands drowned. (2) `The KING OF PRUSSIA, Long, from Bordeaux for Hamburg, is ashore off Kimmeridge, but part of the cargo will be saved. And, near the same place, a sloop with brandy is lost, and 3 men drowned. (3) Source (4) interpolates the following details from the sloop lost at the same time in the same place: vessel type, sloop; cargo, brandy; and number of crew lost.
