Full Description

`Driven from Portland Roads onto the shore, where two crew were lost in attempting to get on board from Portland. (2)

`Weymouth, 8th Dec. The CITY OF LIMERICK, Coleman, from Portsmouth to Limerick, drove from her anchors last night in Portland Roads, during a violent gale at WSW, and went on shore among the rocks at Whiteworth Head, and is full of water. Some of the materials may be secured, but there is no probability of saving the hull. (3)
