Full Description

`Weymouth, Apr. 14:...a small vessel was cast away near this harbour, but all the men were saved. She was laden with tobacco leaves and cider from Lyme, bound to Newport in the Isle of Wight. Date of Loss Qualifier: R (1)

The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
