Full Description
`...this brig went on shore in front of the Esplanade, opposite Brunswick Buildings...when probably from ignorance of the coast, the captain stood in too near the land and was consequently near stranded on our sands. The crew (consisting of Captain, mate, 3 seamen and a boy) were fortunately all saved...the vessel lies a helpless wreck on the sands, and with the wind in her present quarter, there is little hope of her being got off, and with all probability she will break up in the course of a few tides, her hull being completely covered at high water.
