Full Description

`Falmouth January 15th: On Friday 9th inst. a Swedish galliot called the JOHANNA ELIZABETH laden with brandy, wine and salt was wrecked on Abbotsbury Bay. Two men were drowned. Five men and a boy saved. (2) `The JOHN AND ELIZABETH, Broderson, from St. Martins to Bergen, was wrecked 9th instant near Weymouth. (3) NB: The departure point would appear to be St.-Martin-de-Re, on the Bordeaux coast, from the description of the cargo. Master: Broderson Crew: 8 Crew Lost: 2 Date of Loss Qualifier: A
