Weymouth February 15th: On the 13th inst. was driven on shore on the beach near Bexington a brigantine, burthen about 200 tons, called the AMSTERDAM belonging to Stockholm, Peter Dallstraturn master, from Carcello near Naples, bound to London laden with Belvidera raisins, very few of which will be saved owing to the ships going to pieces as soon as she struck. Crew consisted of the master, 9 marines and an English gentleman, a passenger of the name of Rilan belonging to Plymouth. The master, 3 of the men and the passenger were drowned. (2) `The AMSTERDAM, Dahlstrom, from Naples to London, is entirely lost near Weymouth; the master, four of the crew, and a passenger were drowned.
