`A vessel, supposed to be the RUSSEL of Sunderland, M. Aiskell master was totally lost near Weymouth 16th inst. With all the crew. (1) Master: M Aiskell Crew Lost: all Date of Loss Qualifier: A

Source (2) is identical except in spelling the name of the vessel as RUSSELL.

The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
