Full Description

29-MAY-1951 Obstruction, least depth 4 fathoms 1 feet, in 50 34 46N 002 27 02W. 14-OCT-1990 Not found during sonar search but a wreck, thought by divers to be that of a yacht. Main section about 10x5m standing 2.8m high. Lies on side, half-buried in seabed with hatch covers and machinery/equipment discernible. Least echo sounder depth 5.8 in general depth 8.6m. Scour 0.4m deep.

The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
