Full Description
Drill hall dated 1866, of one storey in hammer dressed stone with a pitched slate roof. The building has a lower lean- to entrance extension with coped stone gable ends. The central part of this breaks forward and is surmounted by a coped gable on kneelers. There is also a floriate finial and a coat of arms in the tympanum. The doorway arch is inscribed First Dorset Rifle Volunteers. 1866. <1>
The building is now demolished.
