Full Description

The vessel was run down and sunk by the Norwegian brig NORDKAP, from Santos to Rotterdam carrying a cargo of raisins. The collision occurred at 2.30pm, the NORDKAP saving the crew of the other vessel and landing them at Plymouth. The ANNIE EDWIN sank in 30 minutes. (1)(3) She was built in 1871 by Lloyd of Milford. She was owned by J Le Couteur, Jersey and her Master was J Jenkins.
