Full Description
Master: Mitchell Crew: 3 Date of Loss Qualifier: A Drove ashore on the outer arm of the breakwater close to the wreck of the SCANDANAVIA, when her chain anchor cable parted. Her captain burnt six flares for assistance, and a tug came out and took her in tow but the line parted and she went on the rocks. (1)(2) Additional source: Southern Times 24 02 1923®
