Summary

1917 wreck of Norwegian cargo vessel which foundered after being captured and scuttled with explosives some 15 miles west of Portland Bill, a position also described as off Bridport. At the time she was en route from Newport for St. Malo with coal. Constructed of steel in 1901, she was a steam-driven vessel.

Ex-DAGMAR. Vessel stopped and sunk by an unidentified German submarine. (1) Sank approximately 15 miles west of Bill of Portland, 4 miles from land.
