Full Description
`Carrying a cargo for Mr. Knight of the Bull Hotel, Bridport, which was lost when the vessel became a wreck. The same consignee had also lost a previous cargo of 1218 bushels of oats in the schooner BLACK DIAMOND in November 1865. The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
