Full Description
The Daphne parted her hawser to which she was riding in SW force 9 wind conditions, with heavy squalls and rain, and went ashore. Loss on vessel £450; loss on cargo £50. (1)(3) `...in running for the harbour, went ashore and it is feared will become a total wreck. Crew saved. (4)
