Full Description
Two slit trenches close together on the edge of the cliff: one was to store rifle grenades (Mills Bombs). From this position landing places on the East Weares could be covered. Slit trenches are in a very dangerous location and condition is hard to assess. [Informant: Gordon Black, resident at 'The Grove' during WW2].At Grove Point, alongside footpath no.16 near ventilator and on the other side of the stone wall. <1-3>
