Full Description
One of 4 slit trenches positioned to stop the enemy getting to the top of the island via the Incline Road, this being the only road up from the Naval Base on the east side of the island. [Informant: Gordon Black, resident at 'The Grove' during WW2]. At The Grove, E of the Incline Road at the intersection of the track to Nicodemus Knob. <1-3>
