Summary

A World War II pillbox located at the entrance to the Eastern Battery, Portland. The pillbox was constructed in 1940-41 and is built of reinforced concrete. It is a large pillbox with all-round visibility through a steel-plated slot which cut four of its six faces. The structure was reported as being extant in 1993.
