Please read our .

Summary

A group of 15 anti-tank blocks, no longer situated in their original positions, are visible on aerial photographs of Worbarrow bay. RAF aerial photographs of Worbarrow Bay taken in 1945 indicate that 23 anti-tank cubes were originally aligned in two rows across the back of the beach, blocking the exit from the cove (see MDO29458). They are now scattered across the foreshore, most probably due to movement by the sea.
