Linear features seen on vertical aerial photographs taken in the late 1940s, and described as being visible as earthworks, but reduced by ploughing. Interpreted as strip lynchets, the remains of a medieval field system.

Full Description
Medieval strip lynchets have been found on aerial photographs in the field above West Cliff, but are now reduced by ploughing. <1>
