Summary
A World War II pillbox identified on the playing field opposite Royal Manor School, Weston Road, Portland. It was possibly hexagonal in plan, built of concrete and was constructed sometime between 1940-41. A field visit in 1997 located no traces of the structure.

Pillbox described by informant (Neville Walbridge) as being of hexagonal type. On playing field opposite Royal Manor School, Weston Road, Portland. <1-3>
