Full Description
Mines (mine B type C - naval beach mine) were laid from the main road (A354) to the top of the beach alongside the Masonic Hall. [Informant: David Smith, former Sapper R.E. involved in mine clearance operations at the end of the war].Victoria Square - Chesil Beach, Portland. <1-3>
