Summary

A World War II pillbox located on Chesil Beach opposite Clouds Hill Cottages, near to the landing stage. The pillbox was constructed in 1940-41 and was built of concrete. Pillbox visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs in 1942, since demolished.

Pillbox visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs in 1942, since demolished. The site was digitally plotted from aerial photographs <4> during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
