Summary

A World War Two type 22 pillbox located on the coast line west of West Bexington. It was constructed in 1940-41 and is built of brick and reinforced concrete. A field visit in 1997 found it to be in a good condition.

Full Description

Type 22 pillbox, brick-walled with reinforced concrete roof. Walls 19ins thick and 7ft 6ins long. Interior empty. Situated in hedge and covered by vines and bushes. Well preserved. <1-3>
