Full Description

The original station was built in 1862 on the east side of Fairmile Road and was demolished in the 20th century. The present building was moved to the west side of Fairmile Road and constructed in Red brick in the late 19th century following the opening of the main laine from Southampton to Bournemouth via Brockenhurst and Milton. <2>
