Full Description
17 Lower Palaeolithic handaxes, 1 retouched flake and 1 flake were found in Christchurch with no specific provenance. <1-2>
Roe <1> gives a 4 figure grid ref of SZ1793; Wymer <2> gives a grid ref of SZ155933 but qualifies it by saying that nothing is known about the provenance other than the parish name. The findspot is actually mapped at grid ref SZ1593
