Full Description

(SZ 1591. NGR sited to Thornbury Rd. from Auth 1 and OS 1:10000 1975). A Neolithic flint lance-head was found by Mr E M Wright of Thornbury Road, in his garden. These are uncommon objects but this is the third found within a mile of Turkton Bridge. (Red House Mus. Acc No. 90/1967). <1>
