‘(2) Bryanston House.. … The Stables, 30 yds. W. of (1), were probably built towards the middle of the 18th century … To the N. of the N.W. corner of the stables is a projecting annex, now a cottage but originally a coach house. Its three wide doorways have elliptical brick heads with stone imposts and keystones; these openings have been blocked and the cottage door and windows are inserted in the blocking.’
