An extensive medieval field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the southwest of Chilfrome. The lynchets and field boundaries extend over an area of 70 hectares to the south of Lower Drove, and were digitally poltted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project

Centred at SY 5859866. Traces of low parallel lynchets, running downhill, of possible IA date. <1>
