Summary

Small Villa with garden now two dwellings. Mid C18, drastically refashioned in early C19. Brick and rubble stone walls, stuccoed and painted, moulded string and low parapet. Slate roof, hipped.

Full Description

East Hill House (SY 68099265) of two storeys with rendered walls was probably built circa 1840. A rounded two-storeyed bow window projects on the west side. <2>

‘The following monuments are of the second half of the 18th and first half of the 19th century. … (20) East Hill House (68099265), 165 yds. E.S.E. of the church, is of two storeys with rendered walls, slated roofs and sashed windows; it was probably built c. 1840. A rounded two-storied bow window projects on the W. side and there is an iron trellis-work verandah.’
