Summary

A detached cottage built in the early nineteenth century, possibly incorporating an earlier building. The house has walls of stone rubble, rendered and painted, and a slate roof, hipped at left hand and gabled at right hand.

‘ Other 19th-century monuments include the following … Rose Cottage, 20 yds. S.E. of the foregoing, is in part rendered; the early 19th-century S. front probably conceals an earlier building.’
