Summary

A lime kiln recorded by Peter Stanier. The source of his information is not known, though the location is marked as a quarry on the 1963 1:10,000 scale Ordnance Survey map. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most probably nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure. The lime kin is marked on the OS 1st edition map.
