Summary

Former malthouse of Messrs Hall's brewery, now used as village hall. Built 1777 by Charles Hall, reputedly with material from Higher Melcombe, Melcombe Horsey. Converted to village hall in about 1948. Walls of flint and stone banding, with chamfered plinth. Slate roof with coped gables.
