Full Description
Examined 1921 by W G Wallace; showed indication of previous disturbance. Whatever interment it may have originally contained had been destroyed or removed. (2)
A bowl barrow; diameter 12 paces, height 2ft; slight hollow in the centre. (3)
A bowl barrow, the south and east quadrants only remaining, the north and west having been destroyed by gravel digging. Accurate measurement not possible, no visible ditch. (4)
No change: approximate diameter NE-SW, 11.0m. height 1.0m. Published NSL 1:2500 survey correct. (5)
In 1976 a large amount of sand was banked against the eroding edge of the barrow and a path was re-routed to encourage the public to avoid the barrow. (6)
