Summary

Antiquarian Charles Warne investigated a barrow situated 'Not far from dyke on Browdun nearest Toot Hill' at some time before 1865. He reported finding a skeleton placed east-west on the floor of the barrow.

Full Description

Grinsell places this barrow around SY 735 027, and conjectures that it may be one of the 'twin' barrows (MDO845 and MDO846) situated a little way to the south west. <1>

Area ST 735028. Apart from two substantial conjoined barrows (ST 70 SW 10) both of which appear undisturbed, no other barrow could be found in this locality. <2>
