Monument record MDO8596 - Round barrow, Charminster Road, Bournemouth

Site of possible round barrow destroyed by development in the early twentieth century. <5-7>

No visible remains. Site now built over. <4>

Two test pits were dug in the immediate vicinity of this barrow, but no trace of it was found, however, a buried soil layer was present which may suggest that the barrow ditch could survive intact beneath the modern development. <8-9>
