Full Description
Urn of conical form with inturned rim. Height about 8.8 inches. Rim diameter about 12.4 inches, reddish brown in colour, found in 1929 during the construction of the lower end of Nursery Road.Unfortunately the greater part of the urn was thrown away. It appears to belong to the Middle Bronze Age. <1>
Early Bronze Age rusticated urn found in 1929. Calkin Collection, British Museum. <3>
Site now built over. <4>
