Monument record MDO8490 - Round barrow, Southbourne Road and Seafield Road, Bournemouth

Bucket urn found 1880-85 at corner of Southborne and Seafield roads. Probably from a barrow. Acquired in 1911. <1>

Site of an ancient burial mound in which an urn was found during the last quarter of the 19th C. <2>

Not mentioned (List of Deverell-Rimbury pottery found in Hants in barrow or habitation site context). <3>

There is no trace of this barrow; the site falls upon a flat area of garden. <4>
