Monument record MDO844 - Bowl barrow, Cheselbourne

Bowl barrow. In 1970 the monument was recorded as being 50 feet in diameter and 2 feet high. The barrow is visible as a low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

ST 73500032. The ploughed down remains of a bowl barrow, 12.0m in diameter and 0.3m high. There is no visible ditch.

Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <2>
