‘Bowl barrow: diam.12.2. Ht 0.8m. On Emmet’s Hill, gentle slope to the E. but precipitous cliff to W. down which the greater part of the barrow has fallen. The remaining E. half of the barrow is overgrown with rough scrubb and grass. Further E. beyond a fence is a regularly ploughed field. OS SY97NE20. RAF/VAP/1821: 1398, 1399, 1400. 7/7/D.’
