A mound interpreted as a possible Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 this mound was reported as being irregular and situated in woodland.

Full Description

A & B Bowl barrows. No details given. <2>

'B' has a diameter of 8.0 metres and a height of 0.8 metres with no surrounding ditch. A drainage trench has cut slightly into the Western quadrant and it is poorly shaped in the Northern quadrant, probably by spoil from an adjacent road cutting having been heaped on to it. A fern and heather covered bowl barrow. <4>

'B' - (48) SY 82218908. Mound, possibly a bowl barrow, now slight, irregular and disturbed, in woodland. <5>

SY 823892. Two round barrows south-west of Cambrai House. Scheduled. <6>

Barrow 'B' is no longer discernible in an area much damaged by military vehicles. Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <7>

SY 82228912; SY 82198908. Two bowl barrows on the edge of Crane's Moor. Scheduling amended. <8>
