Summary
Cropmarks of double concentric rings visible on an aerial photograph taken in 1980. The rings were around 19 metres and 40 metres in diameter, and were interpreted as the probable remains of a barrow.

‘Cropmark of double concentric rings at SY 81488412 measuring approximately 19m. and 40m. in diameter from AP (a); probably site of barrow. ‘

‘There are no visible remains of any earthwork in the vicinity of this AP cropmark. The site lies in a pasture field on a low flat-topped spur.’
