No trace on RAF aerial photographs. <2>

Three mounds are visible in the vicinity on aerial photographs <3-4> which may be barrows or spoil heaps and pits associated with 19th century chalk pits. The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project and are partially visible as cropmarks on the latest Google Earth imagery.
