Full Description

A settlement is suggested at SY 815818, where surviving 'Celtic' fields on the south-facing slope of a dry valley are different in shape and size from most of those around. Above them to the south west, air photographs (RAF 1946) show enclosures, one with a curved side skirted by a track from the west, on relatively flat ground. The whole covers about 3 acres. (RCHME 1970)
