Full Description

'A' and 'B' Bowl barrows. <2>

'A'. A tree covered mound with no sign of a berm or a ditch. Diameter 14.0m. and height 0.5m. This bowl barrow is slightly mutilated by rabbit holes, but no surface finds were made during field peramulation of the area. <3>

Two round barrow in Burngate Wood: 'A' - (52) - SY 83978299. Bowl barrow, about 41ft diameter and 2 1/2ft. high. Tree-covered. <5>

'A'. SY 83978299 and 'B'. SY 83918293. Two bowl barrows in dense woodland. Not located but assumed to survive. Portrayal revised at 1:2500 on M.S.D. from above measurements. <7>
