Full Description
An oval mound, approximately 6.2m x 4m, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Trigon (2).
It is considered likely to be the remains of a modern Ordnance Survey Triangulation point mound. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent aerial images available to the project, this area now being under dense vegetation.
