The published note describes this find as follows: 'Medieval key, Chedington; ST(31)/486054. D.C.M. 1953.23. Found by the donor, Mr. F. M. Cleary, at the east end of field O.S. 47. Kidney-shaped bow, hollow shank, and heavy bit. Perhaps nearest to type III of the London Museum Medieval Catalogue.' (1)
